Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Anna Gunn is a US actress. Her other appearances are Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for acting at Preparatory school before moving to Ohio with her family in late 1970s. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and also spent time at the British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint working in Chicago the theatre before moving to film and TV roles. In 1992 Anna was offered her first big part in the role of Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. As a guest-star, Anna was on Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Then it wasn't until the late 1990s when she was cast in the role of The Practice. The mid-2000's saw her was placed in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler appeared in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was another of her characters. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. She was also a part of the four-part podcast audio drama Numbered days, which was launched in 2022. The love story between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the story in Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and eventually its demise similar to the arc that was Walter White's final years of life.
